Functional Oracle ERP Consultant (Fusion Financials / eBS)

For an established Dutch client we are recruiting for several Oracle experts to support their clients across Western Europe. We are looking for Oracle eBusiness Suite and Oracle Fusion Financials experts who want to work fully remote for an energetic consultancy in the Netherlands that has built a loyal client base over the past 25 years.

Due to compliance and legal requirements, this role is strictly available as a local Bulgarian employment contract via Opensapiens Europe EOOD, B2B/freelance arrangements are not possible.

About the role

You will advise clients on the implementation, configuration, and optimization of their Oracle eBusiness Suite or Fusion Financials environments. You will translate financial business requirements into smart functional solutions and guide migrations, upgrades, and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis & Solution Design:

  • Gather requirements through stakeholder interviews and map current processes against industry best practices.

  • Define functional solutions (FDDs) and process flows within Oracle ERP / EPM.

  • Specify functional requirements for interfaces/APIs and coordinate with technical dev teams.

• System Setup & Migration:

  • Configure Oracle setups (ledgers, charts of accounts, workflows, security, module-specific setups).

  • Plan data conversion rules, validate mapping, test data loads, and support reconciliation.

  • Recommend module selection and scope necessary customizations/extensions.

• Testing, Go-Live & Support:

  • Develop test scripts, run unit/integration tests, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Execute cutover tasks, monitor go-live, and provide hypercare and post-go-live optimization.

  • Provide ongoing support, defect resolution, and continuous process tuning.

• Governance, Reporting & Adoption:

  • Configure BI / OTBI reports and validate financial outputs.

  • Ensure all solutions comply with accounting, audit, and regulatory controls.

  • Create user guides, deliver training workshops, and support organizational change management.

What we are looking for

We need a functional consultant with strong analytical skills who understands financial business processes and can bridge the gap between business needs and Oracle ERP capabilities.

• 3+ years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle eBS and/or Fusion Financials

• Strong understanding of financial business processes, accounting, and compliance requirements

• Fluent communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills (a major plus!)

• German language skills

• Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Oracle EPM

• Relevant Oracle ERP certifications

• Experience in client-facing consultancy or Agile project execution
